Michael Denton, RN, BSN, has experience in the SICU, MICU, ER, OR, telemetry, medical surgical units, geriatric care, and medical informatics. He is currently working on his Masters of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of Utah. He has participated in projects including terminology mapping and concept development using SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and other terminology standards. His interests are in leveraging healthcare interoperability and Meaningful Use to improve patient care and outcomes.
